Yodale--ee-hoo.

I've been bugged by my wonderful friends from work to update my blog. So this is for you ladies, enjoy.

My day has been spent with a box of tissues, cough drops, and the remote. I left for a bit of time to attend my social work class- attendance is crucial- and to take an exam in my FCHD class. Then immediately came home to cuddle with my blanket and watch chick flicks. A big shout out to these movies for keeping me company today:

I guess you could say I was in a mood to be sad and cry, because oh boy these movies sure do that to you.

This week: IT SNOWED! It was a winter wonderland, and weirdly enough, I love it:)
This weekend: I went on two dates that are definitely in my top five favorite dates ever. Let me explain.
Date one: Childs play. We made pizza, played card games, built a blanket fort, had a marshmellow/oreo fight and played the hilarious game of klum-z, all without ever stopping our laughter. My date was the ever-handsome Duke Papworth, otherwise known as Dukey, Dukester, Dukeinator, Duke Duke:
He is a hoot! And the rest of our group was just FABULOUS:
Keri took Riley Potter, and Staci took Sean Wright. Great people. Seriously, we laughed SO MUCH and our chemistry together was just astounding.

Date number two: Adventure in the City of Salty Lakes.
We drove to the Gateway to pick up Matt's date, Elora, and first things first: walked like 13 miles trying to get to our destination: The Grand America Hotel (cue the violins)
Seriously. This place looked like it belong in the Titanic, with its HUGE ballrooms and fancy decorations; its was beautifully picturesque. We ran around and explored- and as weird as it sounds, it was SO FUN.
Welcome to the ministry of magic, feel free to apparate at your own convenience.

Looks like a scene of out Titanic huh? Its kind of eerie.

The gardens were majestic. Thats all i'm going to say. Anyway. Like I said, Mateo took Elora who is just gorgeous and hilarious and from BYU, and I went with Chancey. We ended the day with some delicious food and great company at Z'Tejas Southwestern Grill, and it was just yuuuummy! And thus ended the day with a drive back home to good ol Logan.

P.S. Today I am thankful for COLD MEDICINE.
