Day 2- A really good memory

I had a very hard time picking this one! But in the end, I chose my familys' Road Trip to California. IT. WAS. THE. BEST.

Miss Kaitlyn Barnard joined us on this trip. As stated in previous posts, Katie has been adopted into my family. Hence why she's joining us on this "family only' vacation. Our first stop were the salt dunes. Don't know where they are, only know that a scene in Pirates of the Caribean was filmed here. Hence this picture!

We then stopped at this BEAUTIFUL lake through a canyon. Oh, it was probably the 4th or 5th coldest day of my life. But it was just gorgeous.

My parents at the lake.

Yosemite National Park!!!! We were so excited. This place is stunning.

Do you wonder why I love tree's and sticks and stuff? Exhibit A.

Final Destination: Morrow Bay. It was quite a chilly week, so we just played around for a little bit. Aren't we adorable?

My family! We're missing Kevin and Viviana though. But this canyon was so amazing, the colors were breathtaking.

Thus concluding a really good memory! Such a blast, I love road tripping with my family. And to have Katie join us was a treat! Honorary Ramirez member.

A Eventful Week

Hello dear friends.
This week has been pack full of some fun slash memorable events.

First of all, my BEST FRIEND Kaitlyn Barnard came up for the weekend to visit from Southern Utah! I had a blast with her, she just cracks me up and my family looooves her.

Miss Victoria Nye's bridal shower.
It was the first of many showers that I anticipate:) Tori will be a great bride, wife, and mother, we are so excited for her!

True Aggie night.
We may or may not have showed up just to watch and oggle...but we're firm in saying we were only there to take a picture of our friends, Tanner and Rachel. (Who are the cutest couple ever. Really!)

Ian Haderlie's farewell and departure.
This young man has been my best friend for yeeears on end. I am so proud of the decisions he has made in his life, and to see him grow and become stronger both spiritually and mentally, has been an honor.

Piñatas.
We tried, anyway. We were aiming for Mickey Mouse...but...it didn't really work. It was fun though, these kids make me giggle.

Wednesday....Arby's Jr. Chocolate Shake and flowers.
Enough said.

HALLOWEEN!!!!
Oh gosh how I love this celebration. Candy and dressing up, how much better can it get? Loooooove it. And this year was just great, we went to a dinner / picture scavenger hunt / scary movie party and it was so so much fun.

And today was fast and testimony Sunday!! My favorite days of the month! My bishopric and stake presidency members are amazing. It has been a great week, and I just loooooooooove my friends and family and ward members.
I have been strengthening my testimony in love this past week. To love my family, to love my friends, to love my neighbor and fellow man, to love myself, and to love my Heavenly Father and His beloved son, Jesus Christ.

"Because love is the great commandment, it ought to be at the center of all and everything we do in our own family, in our Church callings, and in our livelihood. Love is the healing balm that repairs rifts in personal and family relationships. It is the bond that unites families, communities, and nations. Love is the power that initiates friendship, tolerance, civility, and respect. It is the source that overcomes divisiveness and hate. Love is the fire that warms our lives with unparalleled joy and diving hope. Love should be our walk and our talk."
- President Uchtdorf

P.S. On this day, I am thankful for PEANUT BUTTER

A Brief History

I, Gaby, having been born of goodly parents:

Francisco and Sanjuana. Dad is a sports enthusiast, enjoys working on cars, and looking out for his little girls. Mom is an animal lover, maker of deliciously wonderful food, and entertainer of the household. Dad is quiet and stubborn, mom is loud (as are the women of my family) and flexible. They make a wonderfully happy couple.

I have two beautiful sisters and one dapper brother in law.

Viviana and Kevin got married almost two years ago in December. Viviana enjoys taking pictures, loving her cat, and being hilarious. Kevin likes games- video games, board games, frisbee golf, and Viviana. Viviana is honest and charismatic, Kevin is quiet but crazy. They both are, in a good way.

Venezia is a teenager- watch out! She is awesome at school, loves to read and watch movies, and just plain be cute and adolescent-y. She is definately shy, but a total sweetheart and a spaz at times.

Chita is our cat. She is fiesty and hormonal, but genuinely sweet when she wants to sleep on my bed or is sleepy.

Canelo and Nala. Canelo is an energentic lab who looks after Nala, who is just the sweetest, oldest most adorable dog any girl could ask for. Mans best friend? I submit not! Girls best friend .

Katie. We consider her to be a part of our family, no questions asked. Katie loves the color green, batman, cereal, and music. She's a nut, and we love her for it. She's loyal and funny, we'll keep her around.

And last but not least, me! I like to read, my favorite color is yellow and I love sunflowers. I like to be outside in the sunshine, and fall is my favorite season! My favorite boardgame is clue and I love the Utah State Aggies. I'm happy and distracted and pretty darn excited about life.
Well, thats my family in a post. I love them! They are the best.
"When the seas of life are stormy, a wise mariner seeks a port of peace. The family, as we have traditionally known it, is such a refuge of safety."
-President Monson

P.S. On this day, I am grateful for family vacations
